PC Consultants is a Guyanese-owned Consultancy Business, established in 2021, to offer science-based solutions to development challenges in the diverse fields of food and agriculture, forestry, biodiversity, environment, and climate change.
Prior to establishing PC Consultants, the owner and managing director, Dr. Patrick Chesney, has had extensive national, regional and international experience addressing environment programmes and projects working for the UN, governments, private sector, and NGOs.

Tropical agroforestry expert with over 30 years of experience in agriculture, biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability in Guyana and the Caribbean.

Social Conservation Expert with experience and training through academic qualifications and the completion of projects in South America, the Caribbean and Africa.

Climate Policy Officer proficient in integrating nature-based solutions, gender responsiveness, and youth perspectives into climate change policy and adaptation programmes.

7+ years’ experience in aquatic ecology and wildlife conservation in Guyana working with multiple stakeholders to develop solutions to protect Guyana’s biodiversity through inclusive, gender and rights-based approaches.

Conservation Practitioner with 20+ years of experience in the field of protected areas management, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, stakeholder engagement, EIAs, indigenous relations and environmental education.

Trained Biologist with 5 years’ experience in environmental ecology, and promoting environmentally sustainable practices in Guyana and the Caribbean.
